Description: Adphocat99 kills wide spectrum of bacteria and viruses, prevent cross-contamination, giving the best protection to the user. When tested with European Standard EN 1276:2019, (E) and EN 1650: 2019 (E), it was shown that Adphocat 99 exhibited high log reduction (killing) within just 1 minute of contact time. For test ISO 22196:2011, Adphocat 99 showed no sign of decreasing after 30 days of exposure, where the same high log reduction capability is still observed.

The liquid forms a self-sterilized thin film which continues to give 24/7 protection and preventing cross-contamination up to 365 days. Its performance is enhanced when exposed to light, further boosting its disinfection effect. Clay finishes can also naturally generate negative ions and passively improve indoor comfort, applying Adphocat99 provides an additional layer of protection—enhancing indoor hygiene, safety, and overall comfort.

Storage: Store in room temperature (25°C – 35°C).

Application: Adphocat99 can be use right out from its container. To start application, fill the spraying equipment (Electrostatic sprayer/ atomizer sprayer) tank with Adphocat 99 and its ready for application. Brush or Roller also can be used.

Installation Steps (electrostatic sprayer):

1. Distance yourself about 1 – 1.5 ft. from target surface.

2. Hold the spray gun at the right angles toward the target surface and start the spraying from the highest point.

3. While spraying, use zig-zag horizontal strokes for about 3 ft. wide.

4. Overlap each stroke by about 50% on the previous stroke.

5. Vertical strokes can be applied as well if the area is suitable for such application.

Concept of Photocatalysis

Photocatalysis is an advanced oxidation process that utilizes light as energy source to initiate oxidation-reduction chemical reaction (Figure 1). This technology was discovered by a professor in Japan, Akira Fujishima, when he accidentally discovered that titanium dioxide (TiO2) is active towards the light. Titanium dioxide, by far, remains as the most promising photocatalyst. When photocatalyst is exposed to light and the air, it will generate active radicals (hydroxyl radicals, •OH and superoxide radicals O2-•). These radicals are able to decompose harmful bacteria, viruses and volatile organic compounds into non-harmful compounds such as carbon dioxide and water. It is a mimic reaction of photosynthesis.

Adphocat99 Killing Mechanism

Adphocat99 is a scientific breakthrough, using the most advanced state-of-art nano technology mixture of photosensitizer and titanium dioxide photocatalyst. The photoactive chemistry of titanium dioxide was discovered by a Japanese professor in 1969, whom accidentally found that titanium dioxide become active under ultra-violet light irradiation. The reactive oxygen species (ROS) is effective to decompose volatile organic compounds and eliminate bacteria and viruses (Figure 2). Adphocat99 is even advanced with having fantastic activity under indoor light environment to suit the need of today market.

RLU (Relative Light Units) is the amount of light measured during an ATP bioluminescence test. When ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) reacts with luciferase in the test kit, it produces light, and the luminometer displays this as an RLU value. ATP is an energy molecule found in all living or once-living cells, including bacteria, yeast and mold. Higher RLU means more ATP, indicating more organic residue or microbial contamination. According to Kikkoman’s hygiene standard, an RLU value below 1,500 is considered clean.
